The Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission’s (MHSOAC’s) Client and Family Leadership Committee and Cultural and Linguistic Competence Committee are holding a Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Community Forum in Shasta County on May 29, 2014. The forum will be held at:
Location: Red Lion Hotel Redding
Time: 3:00 to 6:30 PM for the Forum
1:30 to 3:00 PM for pre-approved information tables
The purpose of this Community Forum is to have a community discussion on the progress and impact of the MHSA in Shasta and Superior California counties. I am asking for your assistance in promoting this forum to the mental health stakeholders in your county and community by distributing the attached flyers and invitation letters. Please read the attached flyer and invitation letter for additional information. Among other groups, our priority is to have clients and family members attend this forum.
We are asking that attendees RSVP to: mhsoac@mhsoac.ca.gov in order to have an estimated number of people who plan to attend. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us as listed below
