BIBLIO/POETRY THERAPY

Claudia Coon Mosby, M.A., is a therapeutic poetry and writing facilitator, published author, and post-secondary educator in Redding, CA.

She has piloted therapeutic poetry and writing programs for clinical and developmental populations, working primarily within healthcare, law enforcement, and education.

Her clients include Dignity Health (Floyd Morgan Cancer Center, Mercy Hospital), the Shasta Community Health Center, the Shasta County Women’s Jail, Shasta College, and National University among others.  She also facilitates groups for private citizens within the community.

Currently she is developing therapeutic poetry and writing programs for both incarcerated youth at the Juvenile Rehabilitation Facility in Redding and a peer group for professionals working within mental health, ministry, and medicine.

Her primary interests are in chronic, terminal, and mental illness and members of marginalized populations.
