The public is invited to a “Community Vigil” by Shasta County Interfaith Forum hosted by Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ, 2850 Foothill Blvd, Redding, to honor those murdered and injured at the mosques in New Zealand and to affirm support for our Muslim brothers and sisters and all faith traditions. The vigil will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 7 pm.
The vigil will include brief comments and prayers from various faith traditions. Abu Bakr Salahudfin, Imam of the Islamic Center of Redding will be present also.
The vigil is free and open to all. Your presence at the vigil shows your support of diversity.
