Come and enjoy a great presentation and networking all in one place!
Monthly RRC-CAMFT Chapter Meeting will be held at Northern Valley Catholic Social Services, 2400 Washington Avenue, Redding
Thursday, May 9, 12:00 to 1:30
Dolores E. Morris (Dolly), MA, LPC
will be presenting on:
What is Energy Work and how it can be useful in counseling.
Energy Work includes balancing energies in the body, releasing emotional baggage that individuals carry with them and which holds them back. It can help someone who has arrested development or is "stuck" in their emotional life. Energy work can heal the mind and body through intention and touch, and can be used with those who are not in the same place - by distance. Trapped emotions can cause depression, anxiety, personality disorders, illness, pain, failures in being successful in life, connecting socially and much more. Energy work is effective in ridding the body of trapped emotions and balancing Chakras.
Dolly earned an MA from University of Alaska Fairbanks and taught university classes in Alaska Native and Native American Psychology, Lifespan Developmental Psychology, and Statistics. Dolly worked as a therapist in Alaska and California for16 years and has learned and used Energy Work for the past 8 years. She is certified in EMDR, EFT, the Emotion Code and Body Code by Bradley Nelson. She has studied and uses the work of Bonnie Shaw.
