Gail has Bachelor’s in Psychology and has lived in Shasta County for twenty four years. She has been with Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency for a total of thirteen years: two years as a Community Mental Health Worker while the county operated a locked 5150 facility; four years as a Social Worker with In Home Supportive Services; and the last seven years with Adult Protective Services, currently as the Supervisor. All thirteen years have been dedicated to serving those in the vulnerable populations of our community by providing support, resources, compassion and the respect everyone deserves. Supporting and advocating for the elderly in our community is both her passion and privilege.
Freesia Alderete, Supervising Social Worker
Dignity Health Connected Living
Freesia Alderete is a Social Work Supervisor at Dignity Health Connected Living’s Adult Day Health Care program. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Chico State and her Master’s in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. In her current roles she works with Adults with various mental health disorders and cognitive deficits.
Marianne Seifert, Assisted Living Facility Specialist
Marianne's Senior Placement Services
Marianne Seifert has been working with seniors and older adults in the Redding community for over two decades. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and began her career as a social worker in a local skilled nursing facility. Her regarding experience in skilled nursing inspired her to create her own placement service, Marianne's Senior Placement Services. This service assists seniors and their families through the process of selecting an appropriate assisted living or residential care facility by helping them to understand their options.
