Join us for a 6 CEU training on working with victims of Domestic Violence. 

This course is designed for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs.

In this training you will:

Learn to assess severity, frequency and type of abuse present in an intimate relationship

Learn specific therapeutic interventions to break denial and help move clients to safety.

Identify legal & ethical issues regarding client safety and safety planning. 

Learn how to help clients build a stronger sense of self to increase their ability to protect themselves

Learn effective interventions to reduce emotional reactivity and engagement in the cycle of abuse

Identify and understand the dynamics of coercive control and how to work with the complicated dynamics of these relationships.

Experience first hand stories of survivors from psychologically and sexually abusive relationships.

Danni Mason LMFT#38729

Danni Mason specializes in recovery from domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual abuse as a child and drug/alcohol addiction. She graduated from Loma Linda University with a Masters of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy in 1995. She has been working with domestic violence victims for 25 years. She has worked with victims in domestic violence shelters providing individual psychotherapy. She brings an extensive knowledge of the subject to clients and providers.

*Lunch is NOT provided and can take place off site

*Course Completion Certificates will be awarded to all participants at the end of the training day

*Course meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences

*RRC CAMFT is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs. RRC CAMFT maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.
