Dr. James Taggart has practiced emergency medicine for over 20 years, board certified and trained in emergency medicine.
Dr. Taggart graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his post-graduate training at Brown University, University of Florida and Yale.
Dr. Taggart has been the Director and Chief of Emergency Medicine at Shasta Regional Medical Center since 2012.
Because of a close family member suffering from severe treatment resistant depression, Dr. Taggart founded Shasta Meadows Wellness Center, an innovative practice providing proven treatments for patients who have yet to find relief with traditional medical options.
Dr. Taggart will be discussing treatment of severe depression, PTSD and anxiety using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Intravenous Ketamine.
