Clinical Supervision is constantly changing. From the addition of new licensing laws to hours that qualify for pre-licensed therapists. Clinical Supervisors are in a constant state of change. Keep yourself up to date, join DaLene for a highly interactive and fun program designed for supervisors of all levels of experience as we cover the many changes and challenges for Clinical Supervisors. DaLene focuses on balancing the formal Supervisory relationship with a personalized approach that supports professional growth and individual style. 

Attend Friday only - 7.5 CEs including 3 Legal and Ethical CEs for $150. Recommended for current Clinical Supervisors of MFT, ASW, and PCC Interns and Trainees seeking to fulfill the 2 year requirement.

Attend Friday and Saturday - 15 CEs including 6 Legal and Ethical CEs for $300. Recommended for new Clinical Supervisors and Supervisors seeking to qualify to supervise ASW Interns and Trainees.

Day One (7.5 CEUs) This one day training qualifies Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs) interested in providing Clinical Supervision, with 2 years post licensure, to supervise Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor Interns and Trainees.
This one day training qualifies as the mandatory Clinical Supervisors update training, required by current supervisors, every two years or within each licensure cycle.

*This training does NOT qualify as an initial training for LMFTs, LPCCs, or LCSWs  to provide Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs) with supervision. To provide Clinical Supervision to ASWs, the qualifying Clinical Supervisor must attend an initial 15 CEU training. The BBS prefers the training to occur during the same two day training.

*This one day training qualifies for 3 Legal and Ethical CEs.

Day Two (15 CEUs) This two day training qualifies LMFTs, LCSWs and LPCCs interested in providing Clinical Supervision, with 2 years post licensure, to supervise Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASWs). To provide Clinical Supervision to ASWs, the qualifying Clinical Supervisor must attend an initial 15 CEU training. The BBS prefers the qualifying training to occur during the same two day training.

*This two day training qualifies for 6 Legal and Ethical CEs.

DaLene Forester Thacker, PhD, LMFT, LPCC is a CAMFT Certified Clinical Supervisor and has been teaching and training since 2000. Dr.Forester is a current Clinical Supervisor in private practice and maintains a full time practice with an emphasis on the treatment of Eating Disorders (CEDS), Anxiety Disorders, and the treatment of Trauma (BCETS).

Other trainings by Dr.Forester include: EMDR Basic Training, EMDR Boot Camp: an EMDR skills refresher course, EMDR with Eating Disorders, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, The Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Eating Disorders.  All trainings by AEI and DaLene Forester Thacker, PhD are held in facilities in accordance with the ADA. If special accommodations are required, please notify AEI at 530-949-5225 at the time of registration, or 72 hours in advance, which ever allows more time for the accommodations to be met.
